the story 03:00
the sea feels different now without you in it the water gathering where you displaced it entire pods of other whales migrating through the ocean, speaking so many languages i could never learn them so I'm left behind as they move on and with each wave of love comes the curl of gripping doubt so miles underneath she was traveling she thought she'd never see the light again. then she saw the thermal vents glowing in the darkness she felt the warmth of the earth, to you it bears no likeness love is so real if you don't need to learn to trust it it's all around you you're a living island this hum is my language
2.
this plant is my friend nine hearts with eleven she was growing, she was growing possum laughing this hot planet this dead planet I hear you yet. I'm my own solace, queen of diamonds this wet planet she is crying can't stop crying harder to breathe eight spades, ten clubs, all the wreckage perfect wreckage possum laughing and laughing and laughing laughing laughing laughing I know I come across like I've lived a million lives but still in solitude I wanna know that I was right. my love is real and the mood brings me to song better off alone I'm done feeling so strong my love is strong, I feel I'm strong I'm full of it now I'm laughing I let love in again
3.
the very sap 03:44
rain is healing huh. frogs are jumping by I stop to let them by tadpoles need advice wash the past away, the rain has come and gone ah this road we're on and I have to think that if the spirit path of time could contain all the other paths within it, we'd know eachother's pain, and walk along the same tree with the wood just rotting, growing backwards. worms are surfacing living under it they're digesting it (they're digesting it) and chewing it (chewing it) yeah they're chewing it. I can wait for that the soil is ripe. fed by our love underneath is this the food that my trees have waited to taste and love just turns to nutrients be the fullest trees, with the thickest branches. cover the shrubs in thy shade, synthesizing sugars by the light of the sun. feed thyself thus. I must. so thine sap is warm and fruitful and red crystallizing, your essence courses through limbs, fixing extremeties and love carries on flowing sweetly.
4.
another love affair with the one I feared the most. The Truth is so patient. why does it always have to take it's time? I tried learning growing, but I've already said goodbye I know you meant no harm. it feels like in my mind like I left it all behind, like I'm watching from afar, I've been burning too much wax
5.
lorazepam 03:45
why am I like this oh why can't I sleep? I tell myself a lullaby it might be the weed, it feels my brain broke hope was the weed that took my garden; sprouting seedlings I'll never take a pill again, but here I am with my lorazepam my mind is sick from lorazepam my body's sick from lorazepam we're done writing your lorazepam I never asked for lorazepam I never asked for clonazepam I never asked for gabapentin I never asked for lorazepam.
6.
it's like all the feelings of restlessness, and feverish romvnce had come to rest with my forehead on your neck forehead on your neck of reckless love I've had enough reckless love I've had enough I finally found my four of cups. finally found my four of cups. part of me never wanted to grow up, didn't wanna accept that my friends just leave they get busy, it's easy for me to feel abandoned it's not your fault but you know this is. a miraculous fruit emerges.
7.
glowing 01:30
he's in the ground he is miles deep, but I still hear him after all it's a deep dive and my heart beholds the truth energy runs through his eyes are glowing too my eyes are glowing too she wished that he'd just stayed still, his body looks so used bury him in hate he surfaced from his grave now your eyes are glowing too your eyes are glowing too
8.
where have you gone, worldly thing? when you left I never had those memories your crystal gem (.......) you turn up and it all comes back to me when you turn up it all comes back to me, all the memories await awake awaken awaken awake my pain and the love and the pain all the energy in the place of thee
9.
she cries up at the moon to get her up to speed the pack is hunting out, so she and mom can sleep but now the empress has to leave i believe in u i believe in u she pushes her the scraps urges her to eat
10.
bodyguard 07:12
let me be your bodyguard I wanna be the one that goes down when you get shot gotta stay armed with all these militia flexing heavy here in keene, new hampshire I'm just trying to stand in the way of the bullet I'm done hoping we can talk it out anymore. my friends don't think this is something to sleep on reparations are definitely not something I can sleep on it's kind of a waste if I just stay inside and make tunes all day call me what I am, I'm an outlaw in this place but I hope I never lose my sensitivity hope I never lose my sensitivity. let me be your bodyguard
